These are the simple values with which FREJA’s founder, Jørgen J. Hansen, founded his transport company in 1985. And these are the same values that have ensured a positive, healthy development for the company since its modest beginnings.
FREJA Transport & Logistics Oy used to operate in Finland by name of Maa ja Meri Oy. The company was founded as early as in 1942 to serve the Finnish Defence Forces by transporting and forwarding war material. In 2003 FREJA became a majority stockhoulder of Maa ja Meri Oy. In early 2009 the names of all of the companies within FREJA Group were standardized. Maa ja Meri Oy was re-named FREJA Transport & Logistics Oy.
The original values
Quality, honesty, liability as well as flexibility have been key words and guide lines for the company and the employees since the very beginning. Well aware of the difficulties holding on to those values while the company keeps on growing, FREJA Group established it’s own school and trainee program in 2005 called “FREJA leadership academy” for it´s employees.
Together with a significant education in everything related to leadership and transport + logistics, the academy ensures that the original values, will keep the company in a good shape to meet the coming challenges.

For FREJA the most important asset is our employees. Our attitude together with our flexibility and the employees in FREJA makes the world a lot smaller for our customers.
